Much of that happens on screen. Video-endoscopy shows the nose, throat and ear in real time during the consultation, and the monitor faces you as well. You see what we see, and we explain what you are looking at.

The clinic works with an Otopront treatment workstation with HD video-endoscopy, KARL STORZ endoscopes and ZEISS optical systems. Together they give a clear, magnified view of the nose, throat and ear. The examination usually takes a few minutes and does not need a general anaesthetic.

Hearing and balance are assessed on a PATH MEDICAL Sentiero platform: tympanometry, pure-tone and speech audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, BERA and VEMP, for adults and for children. Several of these tests are objective, which means a young child does not have to respond or answer anything. The results are explained in the same appointment.
