Your choice

When you first arrive, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. Nothing in those categories is set before you choose. Selecting "Essential only" leaves them switched off.

To change your decision later, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and reload the page; the banner will appear again.

Essential

These are needed for the site to work and for your own preferences to be remembered. They are always active.

• A record of your cookie choice, so the banner is not shown on every page.
• Cloudflare security cookies used to protect the site from abusive traffic.

Analytics

These show how the site is used, in aggregate: which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and where they leave. They are set only with your consent.

• _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics) — distinguish visitors and sessions. Typically stored for up to two years.
• Google Tag Manager — loads the measurement tags themselves and stores nothing on its own.

Advertising

These let the practice see which advertisements lead to an enquiry, and reduce the number of times the same advertisement is shown to the same person. They are set only with your consent.

• _gcl_* (Google Ads) — attributes an enquiry to an advertisement click.
• _fbp and _fbc (Meta) — attribute an enquiry to a Facebook or Instagram advertisement.
• Equivalent identifiers from other advertising platforms, where a campaign is running on them.

Campaign parameters

When you arrive from an advertisement, the link often carries parameters such as utm_source or gclid. With your consent these are stored in your browser so that, if you later send an enquiry, the practice can see which campaign it came from. They contain no information that identifies you personally.

Third parties

WhatsApp, Google and Meta set their own cookies when you interact with their services. Their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.
